Training Course TOGAF®
General

As an internationally recognized architecture management standard, TOGAF® provides methodological support for the establishment and implementation of EA practices. At the core of TOGAF® is the Architecture Development Method (ADM), a general method for architecture development. This is complemented by guidelines and techniques for application and enterprise-specific adaptation. Other important elements include a metamodel, viewpoints, a framework for organizing architecture management (roles, committees, skills, etc.), and recommendations for setting up an architecture repository.
We are a member of The Open Group's Architecture Forum and participate in the ongoing development of TOGAF®. Beyond that, we have been using TOGAF in projects for many years, so we can also speak from our own experience.
Course Content
As part of the training, you will receive a comprehensive and illustrative introduction based on the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition. You will learn the methodological and conceptual components of the framework and, based on a case study with practical exercises (and the practical experiences provided by our trainer), learn how to apply these in practice. Specifically, the course deals with the following topics:
- Overview and core concepts of TOGAF®
- Architecture Development Method (ADM), incl. guidelines and techniques for ADM application and adaptation
- Architecture deliverables and artifacts/viewpoints
- Content and structure of an architecture repository
- Governance and organization of the EA capability (roles, committees, etc.)
This training prepares you for the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 (Foundation) and TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 2 (Practitioner) certification exams.
TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Bridge Exam
For those already certified in TOGAF® 9, we offer a special bridge course based on the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition. The bridge course provides a comprehensive overview of the updates in the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition. The course covers all topics that have been updated or introduced in the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition (compared to TOGAF® 9), allowing you to bring your existing TOGAF® knowledge up to date. This course will help you prepare for the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Bridge exam.
Course Duration
4 days (Standard) or 2 days (Bridge), respectively.
